Hi, I’m Francesco.
I’ve always loved sharing my passions and expressing what I have to say in my own way. When I paint, everything else seems to go quiet. There’s just me, the canvas, and the colours: trying to express feelings.
Over time, painting has also taught me to understand myself better and to find a way to let things out in the midst of the fast-paced life we all live.
art is not a concept
My idea of what “ art ” really means is best captured in the description of one of my paintings.
In particular, I’m referring to the piece “ My Milky Way ”, one of the works I feel most attached to. The description is as follows:
The Milky Way, life and its various stages, a thread that could break at any moment, ruining everything. A drop of hope alongside a drop of death and fatigue, one cannot exist without the other. Rain with the sun. Being in a hurry to wait, being anxious to prosper . Love and tears. An unrequited love and a happy life. Contrasts. Infinity and the universe.

It’s been over three years now since I first picked up a camera: the CANONEOS 600D, which still is my main camera.
Photography, to me, is a way of capturing everyday life through my own eyes. Much like painting, it’s not just about what I see, but about how I see it. My lens is guided by instinct, curiosity, and a need to give meaning to the small things we often overlook. They both allow me to express how I perceive the world. Wether it’s on canvas or through a lens, it’s always about telling a story or a feeling.
